In case”Bregenzerwald” and”Vorarlberg” sound familiar to long-time readers of the site, the rationale is that I’ve been around with all the family three years ago in the summertime. We loved our stay after I watched Warth temporarily last year about the MDV Transalp I decided it’d be exactly the perfect place to go after ISPO 2019. But as skiing alone is boring and making pictures of one ski alone is pretty difficult, I asked my friend Björn from the St. Bergweh Blog when he want to accompany me. Björn is a wonderful Snowboarder and people have values that are comparable, so when he agreed to join on this excursion, I was happy! What follows are just a few visual impressions from the weekend at Warth, the post will follow in just a bit!

Following three hectic days in the ISPO 2019 Björn and me headed over to the small village of Warth at the Bregenzerwald Region of Vorarlberg, Austria.

We skied both on the slopes of Warth-Schröcken along with Ski Arlberg, to which the former belongs, while the latter is that the biggest skiing resort of Austria. But apart from hitting on the slopes we also found a few areas.

We were fortunate enough to also fulfill Nina along with Dirk and have an enjoyable afternoon with them. They know a good deal of great spots that are secret and live throughout the down ski season in Vorarlberg!

See more photos in the Flickr Album and on Instagram. And since Björn always finishes his posts I’ll honor this heritage with the Terrific song which we listened from Munich into Warth and back:
